Horse Racing & George "Iceman" Woolf

He's last ride was on Jan.3,1946 at Santa Anita Park, one of the greatest Jockeys of all times.
He was a diabetic and nobody knew much about it in those days, well he passed out, fell off his
horse and died later in the morning.I just acquired my third program from that fateful day along
with a few tickets. Some people like their collectables pristine,I like mine game-used,chips worn
with cigarette burns & programs with picks and notes, and that's just how I know another Jockey fell
of a horse just two races early but without the fatal results, thanks just wanted to share my recent find
One day I hope to find a ticket bet on#3 in the 4th race
