Re: John Huxley / Square in Circle mold question

Interesting that Huxley was likely using that mold so early in the 1980s.

In The Gaming Table, there are some Portland Card Co. records of them sending hot stamped chips to Midwest Game Supply Co (Kansas City, MO), but I didn't notice any shipments to John Huxley.

I think that Portland may have entrusted John Huxley with the chip blanks to hot stamp themselves. Last year, Garin Williamson posted a photo of some John Huxley samples which seems to support that. I guess that Huxley got blanks from Portland or more likely directly from Burt/ASM. By 1982, the Portland Card Co. may have already begun to shut down their chip business, and have licensed the mold to Huxley. I will have to look up when their last last sales are in The Gaming Table. http://www.thechipboard.com/archives/archives.pl/bid/399/page/26/md/read/id/1620142/sbj/unusual-huxley-s-samples/
