The value; embedded chip... by Don L.

First; Don L. has suggested here that any embedded chip of which is known in quantity and having a book value, the embedded form would be valued at 40% book... of which sounds about right ---- with one exception and, that being if the embedded chip was made for a certain event (purpose) in a low production and, the value of the embedment (paperweight or whatever) would be where the value is and not so much the chip within...

Example being the Paradise Island Casino Trump Luncheon in 1987, where there was a $100 jeton from the casino embedded. That piece, as it is; I think would command more than the jeton in its original state... So, I guess there is no exact, firm rule other than performance history.
