The Hacienda was originally called the Lady Luck but never opened under that name. I worked
there in the early 70s when Judy Bailey ran the place after the death of her husband Warren (Doc).
Her son worked there as a pit boss and was the first employee allowed to wear a mustache in a
strip casino. The CM would call the dealers into his office and lecture us on the evils of joining
a union. I was told Willie Martello, owner of the El Rey in Searchlight kept a permanent residence
at the Hacienda.
