~~~ speaks volumes as to how much we did not know and how costly it could have been to our organization... especially if we would have continued on the course we were on by simply leaving the conversation as it was and the decision up to membership and our board of directors for what we thought was best; costwise. But, luckily; we had Mark, who on 17 January 2021, brought this 5-year-old IRS rule change to our attention.

...and, yes; "powerful" is a big, long-legged word, especially when that power is applied correctly.
