Re: I know this has been asked before...

I mostly use airtites for my more valuable chips (and the ones that are on my desk under the vinyl mat). I get these in both 39mm and 40.6mm because worn chips fit in the first one best, and the better condition chips fit in the latter one better. Once they're in, you can't tell which size is which from the outside. Same outer diameter. I buy them 250 at a time from an eBay seller 'poloblade'.

I use self-sealing 2x2 flips for my better traders. Can't remember where I bought them from (online for sure), but I had (and have) a tough time removing the backing. There's a flap in the center that you would think would lift up so easily, exposing the sticky part. Nope. It tears when you do it that way. I have to use my thumbnail to scrape an opposite (outer) corner and peel it that way. The seller gave me some (or all?) of my purchase price back because of this and told me to keep them, so it's all good. Might have been a one-off batch problem, or it's just the way they are.

All of the above is stored in clear plastic storage boxes. I use strips of cardboard to make row separators and short pieces of cardboard for letters to separate my chips alphabetically. Those stack nicely in my safe and let me see what's inside (broadly).

I prefer airtites withOUT the rings, but only because being oversized compared to the regular airtites makes it harder to store things in a consistent manner. So, if I receive a chip in an airtite with a ring, I move it to one without the ring and store the empty ringed airtites. Eventually, I'll make someone a great deal on all of those. I have about 60 in black and white ring styles.

Hope that helps a bit.
