~~~ buyers in the Potter & Potter sale #95, were non CCA members nor viewers here and, that is due to some of the unusual action at first in displaying the lack of knowledge as to what has been discussed here since we first learned that it was P&P who was going to handle Robert's collection, especially seeing some lots selling for 3X the level that they are readily availabe for on line. Those who did "pay attention" did extremely well, especially with some of the investment-grade MOP pieces. I kind of screwed up myself with not bidding a wee bit higher on some of the ivories that I knew the exact quantities that exis... and how long it will be before we ever see them become available, again.

The most important part of all this, though; is that Robert enjoyed it... may be rest in peace.
