or even donate directly to pay for a portion (and sometimes all) of a new member's annual membership fee. Unfortunately, what we (I was the club's membership officer for some of this time) discovered was that those members usually lasted a year and many hardly participated in the club or the hobby. In my opinion, you have been an enjoyable participant in both the club AND the hobby, Barry. Keep it up.
