Dick remember Huggy Boy in 50's we would drive to

Fred - I never heard Huggy Boy on the radio... I grew up on the east coast so we had
our own set of personality DJs back in the day... the guys I listened to were on the air
in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, etc... my all-time favorite was Dan Ingram
on WABC... Cousin Brucie too... I got to meet Bruce when I worked at CBS-FM... very
nice man.

Chicago had some fantastic DJs as well - Larry Lujack and Fred Winston immediately
come to mind... I worked with Fred at WFYR in the late 70's - he was the morning man
and I did middays... left to right: Fred Winston, Dick Bartley, John Wetherbee, Jerry Curtis,
Stu Collins, Dean Richards (circa 1979).

My favorite west coast DJ was the legendary Wolfman Jack... I idolized Casey Kasem and
Dick Clark as well... and of course Art Laboe - not so much for his on air work, but for the
famous series of "Oldies But Goodies" albums he put together in the 60's and 70s.
