This is actually a great question. And to complicate it a bit more. In my case I have 2 sons. One is a bigger collector/hoarder than I am. The other son collects nothing so when that time comes or gets closer. Make the collector buy out the non collector son. Who sets a value which is changing daily by sales or purchases.

It can be a huge mess and help is a great thing to ask about.
