Cutting Costs on Playing Card Tuck-Tab Boxes?...

Here is a pack of Opera House casino, Bicycle 808 playing cards from the USPCCC. The ace of spades code of "K", means they were made in 1968 or 1988 or 2008. The Opera House was open from 1985 to 2015, which then dates this deck to 2008.

Earlier issues of Opera House playing cards (from GEMACO) have custom Jokers, whereas, these are generic, Bicycle 808 Jokers. Since the tuck-tab box and Jokers are generic, it looks like the Opera House was cutting back on costs, well before closing in 2015.
