... George was in town to promote his new album "33 1/3"... the record label held a press event and as Music Director at WBBM-FM (we were playing "This Song" and "Crackerbox Palace" off the album), I was lucky enough to be invited... we chatted for a minute or two - George was very nice but very quiet... a photographer took a couple pictures and that was that... also present that evening was Billy Preston and I had a nice talk with him as well - but sadly no picture.
