I also noticed that no Penn Specialty Co. boxes have shown up in articles written by Dale Seymour and Herz listing those boxes, nor in Seymour's book with catalog pages. The only clue I had about the company was a photo David Spragg had of some Penn Specialty Co. advertising chips on the Roman/Weave mold that had a company address. My original motive for tracking down the company, its owner, and his descendants was to get more information about the Roman/Weave mold which was originally owned by Penn Specialty.

It turns out it was a very small operation. Below, though, is a Penn Specialty/Burt order card from 1968.
