Picked Up This Item As Well..
In Response To: Re: Any Help Appreciated.... ()

Walter -- I picked up this little memento on my way out of the casino where I found the MOP chip. They framed my two tickets to get into the casino, a 10 Euro jeton, and two different brass tokens used in the upper-tiered balcony. My experience at the roulette table was laughable as you have to call the number in French, and I called mine for 100 Euros (Table Minimum) as 22 as I was seated in bleacher-like stands with other players -- who all got a big laugh when I used the jetons to place my bet. You throw on the table and a croupier places your bet. I thought I called 22 but my French was a little rusty, and the dealer put it on 23. The number 22 hit and I thought I had broke the bank, but upon looking down at the table, I saw my mistake. I kept only one 10-Euro chip for a souvenir, and as I was headed out the casino, the alarm at exit went off and I though they were going to bust me for having the chip in my pocket, as everyone in suits rushed toward the entrance and headed my way. As I got to the steps, I was relieved to see a bright red sports car in the circle drive. Then came six men hauling a red carpet. Everyone was bowing as a young man about 23-years-old emerged from the vehicle, and they were calling him "Prince." He was from Saudi Arabia, and the game was going to change. Only plaques -- large value ones were shuffled to the table. If I had called my number correctly, my take would have been maybe just one of those plaques. The story is worth more than that MOP, unidentified chip that I found.
