Brie Wroten... 4 Queens WIN CARD Chips...

In response to your previous wanted post for 1 NCV 4 Queens, bi-color chips, I have these 2 available to you. As a newbie to the hobby, you may not be aware of how these chips were used at the 4 Queens.

Once upon a time, a blackjack dealer in Reno, observed that many potential newbie players were 'afraid' to try out the game. After thinking about it for a while (with another individual) they created a promotional program to entice new players to try out blackjack, craps, and roulette. Basically, the idea was to give a player a bunch of chips (15) for a cost of $10, along with 3 strategy cards (called WIN CARDS). This program was offered to casinos as the WIN CARDS Program and casinos were allowed to create and order 1 NCV chips, or reuse 1 NCV chips they may have on-hand.

Many casinos ordered new chips and branded them with the name "WIN CARD", and some just used their on-hand supply of 1 NCV chips for the Program. Today, the Program seems to have faltered, but over time, it has produced many "WIN CARD" branded NCV chips (1's and 5's), to the point that WIN CARD chips is a niche collectible. Some collectors collect just individual WIN CARD chips, while others (like me) collect the individual chips, and complete sets, as packaged by the casinos. Imaged here is a complete set of 15- 1 NCV WIN CARD chips from the 4 Queens, along with the 3 WIN CARD cards and the tri-fold brochure they come in and a Dealer's Tip Coupon. (The good news here, is that since the 1 NCV WIN CARD chips were offered as a set of 15, you stand a good chance of getting these chips. In fact, the two chips shown, as part of my Pay-it-Forward Promise, are yours, at no charge.)

Enjoy the hobby!
