Hey, all. I'm selling 2 3/4 sets of 1930s/1940s chips from the Pershing Hotel in Lovelock NV. The red $5 chip (TCR V3210) is the valuable one with a low book value of V ($450). I've never seen this one, nor any of the others for sale on eBay or anywhere else for that matter, so I'm not sure why they're not all highly valued. In any case, place your bids by replying to this post through Tuesday, Aug 11 5pm Pacific (it will be interesting to see how snipers handle this, eh?).

I'm normally the first person to say "no one pays book value for chips", but these aren't common (at all), so I'd like to get at least low book for all of them, but hope (and frankly expect) to exceed that. You can bid on a single chip, a full set, or the whole shebang. I'll base my decision on whatever maximizes the cash coming my way. I'll include free shipping with tracking and insurance. If you prefer to receive your ships in airtites, add $1 per chip or $3 for a set of 4 (don't include this amount in your bid - we'll take care of it after you win). If you want to add an element of intrigue for effect, you can also come to Reno and I'll arrange a late night cash-for-chips hostage exchange on an old bridge or out in the middle of a desert. Might look funny, though, with the mask situation. But I digress...

Both sides of chips are in similar/same condition as in the pics. All stand on edge (I didn't test each one, but one of each as they all appear to be in the same condition). I haven't done any cleaning. Some of the white spots you see in the flips is cardboard dust, not stains. If bidding is near what I'm asking, I'll get the chips out of the safe, remove them from the flips, dust 'em off and take front/back closeups.

The reason there's no 3rd red $5 is because that's what I actually collect, so I'm keeping that one. Anyway, happy bidding.
