Westward Ho Inlay color

I have a question about the Westward Ho inlay color. As you can see in the pic below, there appear to be white inlays and yellow inlays in the $1 chips. Both sides are the same and condition is equal between both color inlay chips. As you may also be able to see, the bottom left is the grey version and both chips that I have with a yellow inlay are the cream colored version. If they aren't in new condition, they have very little playing time on them. I have kept them in a chip case along with other chips for years and don't remember if I had noticed this difference when storing them.
If not meant to be yellow, how would both sides end up with the same yellow tone on such a well stored and new condition chip? Do any of you have this color inlay on your Westward Ho chips? Could it be an error or variant since TCR only lists white inlay?
What do you think...
Jim
