Club Accepting Slabbing
In Response To: Jerry, You Miss My Point.... ()

That's not going to happen anytime soon with the direction the club has and is going.
Unless membership numbers ( those in the club for 5 continuous or more years ) do not start rising soon, the club will be in real trouble in 8 to 10 years if not sooner, as I see it.
I really hate that as I enjoy this hobby very much. With my age and current health I am not sure if I have 8 to 10 years left. I am sure I am not alone in this category.
Even if the club changed their slabbing policy tomorrow, I still would not send in any chips to be graded. I do not have that many high grade rare chips to slab.
It would be to costly to slab any chip valued at $50.00 or less if slabbing fees were in line with coin slabbing.
I am surprised that some of the long term collectors and dealers that have most of the highest quality of rare chips are not for slabbing.

What ever side your on ( slab or no slab ) it will not be settled here on this board.
