The scan of Thunderbird Downs brings back some very blurry days in the mid 1960’s I think. We stayed at the Thunderbird and bet quarter horse races at the track on or near the property. Don’t think the operation lasted into the 1970’s, but in those days I sometimes didn’t know what state I was in let alone what track,
