Re: ChipGuide Treasure Hunt

On one (can't remember which right now), I could NOT figure out the mold at all. Doing a search for a different chip, ran across the other mold, clicked it to see what it was, THEN went back to find the chip. I'm still baffled at the 30min completion. I feel the best I could have done was maybe 40min. Maybe. I suspect being a collector of worldwide chips for decades and decades is the real key. You recognize the casinos these chips come from "just because" and you can go right to them. I'm a Nevada-only collector, but have picked up chips at indian casinos and throughout the US whenever I've frequented them. But beyond that, I'm relying on good info in the guide.

By the way... Charles, if your system happens to capture all searches, you might want to review what we all searched for to see if there are any gaps in info. For instance, if most of us searched for a chip thinking it was "yellow" but it was "mustard" (or vice-versa), then whomever decides colors for chips may want to consider reclassifying some of these. Same for looking up "horse" versus "bronc(o)", "cowboy", etc.

Anyway, it was a learning experience, great fun, and I only had time to sip one cocktail during the exercise. This should be a regular event, methinks. But past winners can't participate in future events (unless I ended up winning, in which case, ignore that last bit).
