List with the board each year however some years I left off those that were actually on the list as to not tip them off they were in consideration.

I am pretty sure your name was on the list of those considered for at least most if not all those years.

Remember that inductee was kept a secret until the announcement each year and the only people who know who won in the final vote was the HOF Chair and the treasurer who sent the check for the award.

Not even the rest of the HOF committee knew the final vote until it was announced at the banquet.
