When it launched in March, 2005 the ESPN Poker Club hoped to take advantage of the online poker boom and became a major player in the
digital poker marketplace. Never happened. ESPN Poker Club started out offering online poker for free - and never really got much beyond
that. But they did produce some nice poker chips for home game use!
