Pam, the Silver Dollar was one of my favorite bars in Elko. It originally had a single story and was
added on to later. Once the bartender gave me a chip he found in a drawer marked CM for the lady
who ran games there in the 30s. Their was a trough the length of the bar with running water. You
can imagine what it was used for. The place closed several years ago after the owner failed to sell it.
I don't know if it is back open or not.
