I am in the process of collecting one chip from each Nevada casino. Chips I’ve collected directly (some call it harvesting, I call it “earning”) I will probably never give up, even though most of those are lower value and often well worn.

When I started, and even now, I’m more interested in checking casinos off my list. Condition takes a back seat to price, but once I have a nice(er) specimen, that becomes my keeper and any others I have (or get) become my traders.

I would like to say that once I “collect ‘em all” (not likely to happen), I’ll stop and be content. But the reality is, I’ll probably keep looking for nicer, rarer, specimens and be hooked forever.
