I was there when they first opened the tables with chips. Since a lot of people collected riverboats back then I went on the first day and sat at a BJ table and plunked down $300. I told the dealer what I wanted not thinking there would be any problem. Guess again. It took the dealer and pit boss 15 minutes to give me the correct amount of chips. I even had to tell the dealer how to stack them to make them easier to count.
