Chips were relatively inexpensive but had no lasting power - after less than a year of constant play, they began to wear out at the edges, and eventually the entire chip began fading/turning to white. Game-On took over the operation promising better chips, but those, too, have a tendency to wear out quickly. Chipco products were made of a ceramic disc, not pressed clay like Paulson and others. Covered with a thin label for the colors/graphics.
