Nice pictures Jim. I am pretty sure it wasn’t the city of Saratoga Springs that had these made rather a local collector/entrepreneur who owned a shop on Broadway catering to the summer tourists called Crafters Gallery. Besides having many chips made up in frames, he always had a box behind the counter where you could buy individual chips. The store is still open under new management and the chips are no longer available.
