When I worked at American Motors in the 1980's I worked in a building across from the main plant and it was where they stored the returned executive driven cars before they were sold. That means I got first short at buying those cars. I bought one that was that same gold color and loved it. I must have been the only one though because I had on heck of a time selling it when it was time.
