Rich, I remember staying at the El Rancho in Gallup on a trip to Colorado to see the casinos
in 1992. It was neat to see the remains of Route 66 in Arizona and New Mexico. Also, I remember
driving my dad's '59 Chevy across Route 66 from our home in Wisconsin to Arizona in 1960. We
stopped at some of the roadside attractions such as Two Gun Harry's from Tucumcari and stayed
in a couple of the quirky motels. Went thru Gallup in 2018 on a trip to Albuquerque. Neat stuff.
