I wouldn't be surprised if Club Monaco was just a

name given to a certain room in the Lo Curto house - say an old banquet room or the basement - in an attempt to circumvent the gambling laws of the day. Turn part of the building into a "club" and maybe even declare some benevolent activities - give 10% of its income to San Jose Widows and Orphans or help sponsor the July 4th Parade or some such. "Club Monaco" as a separate entity may never have been formally declared.
