Technique For Ashtray Display

Well, now that I know how to attach pictures I thought I'd show an inexpensive way to display ashtrays. I like these shelves because they display the tray at a nice angle, let light through the bottom and have a lip that keeps the tray on the shelf. All the parts are made by "ClosetMaid" which I bought at the Home Depot. The shelf is a four foot piece that's 16 inches wide. I trim the back half of the shelf with wire clippers and use it upside-down so the lip is facing up. The plastic brackets are bought separately for a shoe rack accessory and easily snap onto the bottom of the shelf and give the right angle. The only other needed part are the clips that attach the shelf to the wall.
