We would begin jacket production every August.

Worked for Globe Albums; Pickwick Int'l. was my account. Though only mono, this album sold millions back then. I worked for Lee Halpern from1965 to 1972... Walked in the door one day and introduced myself to Leo Magolis, and he put me to work instantly. Though we produced jackets for many labels, Atlantic was our baby with Pickwick being second. Dave Goldstein (Pickwick) made a trip out to meet me the next day. We were the guys who fixed the Sticky Fingers warped records. The problem was due to moisture in the paper stock which warped the jacket; thus the record. Jagger still comments about the screw-up, today. Sorry for the drift, but these people in the industry were very, very good to me... but I had Florida in my head in '72 and nothing was gonna stop me... (we had no idea what was about to happen to the industry, either).
