My next step would be google. Depending on the operating system that you use, you might be able to restore your computer to an earlier back up date.

Go to google and type in something like "Windows 10 restore to earlier date" (but, of course, use your operating system in place of "windows 10")

Or wait until someone much better with computers, than I am, comes along.
