I have some free time in January and am thinking of heading to Florida for a week or so to warm up.

I'd be interested in choosing my location based on weather (the further south the better), and also the proximity to a casino with a good poker room. In addition to NLHE cash games, I'd like some cash game variety like hi lo PL Omaha, BIG O, etc. More important than anything is not wanting to sit around with a bunch of snowbirds playing rock tight poker trying to carve out a few extra dollars to supplement a meager budget.

Does that suggest I keep to the large cosmopolitan cities like the Miami area?

Any specific casino recommendations where there are lively, enjoyable games?

Any thoughts appreciated!
