Not a very impressive auction. Only 1 or 2 really great machines ( 5c Caille " Black Cat " upright ). Lots of very common restored machines. Most of the Jenning's console machines have new reproduction cabinets. They previously were doing 3 auctions a year here in Las Vegas. They decided to move their slot machine auctions back to their home base in PA. All of us agree that was a big mistake. Many of the largest and best Slot Machine collections are located here in the west, California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. In today's world most serious collectors only want original unrestored machines.
The best auctions in the last few years, were the Liberty Bell Auction ( Marshall Fey's ) collection, and Harrah's Casino Collection. I've been going to these auctions for the more then 30 years. Some of the best were Roy Arrington's auctions at the Rio Casino here in Las Vegas in 1990. However the best of all time was Harrah's Pony Express Auction June 1976.
