Re: In Florida you could be called a “cracker”

when I lived in Lakeland Florida 10 years ago, nobody considered "cracker" to be an insult. They wore it with pride.

I also learned that some southerners thought "snowbird" was an insult so they avoided saying it, but the Michiganders and Ontarians didn't consider it insulting.
