Hisotry of the First Slot Machines in the Far East

There are several numismatic organization (other then the ANA) that our organization is NOT a member of that perhaps should be considered in forming an alliance with. One such organization is the Token and Medal Society (TAMS), which, like our organization produces a periodic Journal.

While this and the other organizations that I belong to generally shy away from articles concerning gaming, the most current issue which arrived yesterday (July / August 2019 Issue) had the following article contained within:

History of the First Slot Machines in the Far East, the Shanghai Connection and the Life of E.T. Riley by Ray Bows.

A multi-page article that includes pictures of know tokens, listings of these tokens along with others that are known to exist as well as tokens that are suspected to exist that are related. It even has a byline reference one of my own publications!

The other organization that should like wise be considered to form an alliance with is the National Token Collector Association.
