Le Cercle plaques - health warning, long, boring

Whilst I'm building up to the plaques I thought I'd better share some more information.
We all remember the hoard of lovely Crockfords and CHC stuff that we were lucky to get a few years ago and whilst this isn't in the same league volume wise, beauty wise I think it is. I'll have 1000s but obviously some wastage so nothing like the Crox amounts but actually glad it isn't.
There are 3 of some and hundreds of others varying in condition and all the usual things.
It's the nature of the beast, the smell. Obviously other considerations come into play so...............
I did warn you this was long and boring.
The first set with lunette (£1000) are totally ruined and only 1 was half passable but I have it wrapped in bubble wrap anyway just because I need to keep one at least so we can forget about those.
The 2nd (and best set as far as collectability goes, Mr Bond) has issues whic hI will describe here to the best of my ability.
£5s are pretty okay with only brown edges (comes off with enough elbow grease) and tape marks in places the only issues with them. There are a small amount that have warped and other smaller faults but overall, very nice indeed. Slight smell as all plaques from the are have I think. Most of the Crox ones did as did the CHC ones and they are fine.
£10s same as above basically. I think they are of a similar chemical makeup so............again, hundreds until I look more closely but most should still be decent.
That's the good news, now the not so good news. These are the ones that feature prominently in Dr No. These are (IMHO) historic plaques so will be offered here and other places (Bond collectors obviously) in the near future.
The good £50s are slim on the ground as lots have had colour run, faded, warped and other things like black ink "bubbles" luckily mainly on backs. Nothing unsightly and most of them seem to be soft so maybe "poppable" maybe I'll try when brave enough. There are a handful of really great ones and these were in the same box, weird.
£100s suffer similar problems and same sort of numbers at the moment.
The £500s are again, slim on the ground but seem to have coped with the barn better than the other 2. I think it may be down to yellow and pink (plus red in jetons) pigments or whatever. I'm sure somebody can share the knowledge on here sometime.
That's the 2nd set done.
1970s set (I think), all in lovely condition, slight smell but "sweeter" than the earlier ones so maybe they'd perfected the combination of chemicals. Again, no idea and just surmising from my experience with these ones.
The later ones are some of the most impressive I've ever seen and the pictures just don't do them justice.
I hope this clears up any confusion and answers questions you may have had.
I'm well happy regardless, even if I sell hardly any I don't care. For once in my life I could (just about) afford it at the right time so hey, why not. About time something good happened.
I actually think it could be a great boost to the UK collecting scene too with a little luck.
Sorry to send you to sleep but as I keep saying, I really do want to do these justice so will keep telling people as much as I can.
The jetons will be for sale next at $60 a set (including postage). I have 100s of the red (not many £5s) but lots have bubbled so they will be given as gifts along with something else that I hope will peak your interest.
Do I ever shut up, jeeez. Not when I get started about these. Sorry. I need some sleep. I've probably still missed something so please point it out if I have, thanks.

They range between 40mms and 61mms (yes, the £20 is 61mm, ok, ish).
