Has anyone ever taken one of the very cheap tours of China that are apparently subsidised by certain businesses or the government? I recently saw a 10 day tour including 4 star hotels and city tours for $499 which is way less than just airfare. I know that these tours make stops at businesses so they can sell their products to us. I just wonder how much pressure they put on you to buy? Is the total tour OK or a scam?
