Hello everyone...

I hope many of you remember there was a committee of volunteers that presented a number of suggestions to the CCA Board during the Chip Show in June regarding ideas and suggestions to grow our club and grow our hobby. Many of these suggestions came from our members as a result of a survey we conducted in the spring of all of our members. The Board recommended that going forward we form two committees.

The first committee would focus on updating and enhancing our website along with more of a focus on social media activities. I would lead this committee. The second committee would focus on new approaches to growing our club membership and retaining our current members. Roy Nelson, our Membership Director, would lead that committee.

All of this is summarized in an article i wrote which was published in the last Club magazine beginning on page 16. I hope you all had a chance to read it. In order to make these efforts successful volunteers are needed to serve on these committees. The purpose of this message is to ask for volunteers to serve on one of these committees. We cannot make it happen without the support of volunteers. If you are interested in serving on one of these committees, please email me at rtimmins@yahoo.com. It will probably require three to fours hours per month for about nine months.
