Casino Pauma

Casino Pauma

This is a bit closer to what I was hoping for. Good atmosphere, friendly people. Seems to be more of a local's place, not another Strip Casino in the sticks. It's in the middle of a orange grove. The Casino was busy for a Tuesday afternoon as they had a giveaway for a covered baking dish in exchange for enough points. Looks to be a nice useable item, not just casino cheapie bling. I'd never play enough to earn the points. But there were a couple hundred people walking around with their prized dishes.

They gave a table games match play of $5 with the club membership. 'bout time I got something for the tables and not just useless slot "free" play. $10 Pai Gow table that had 3 side bets. Dealer was nice about explaining the side bets and off we went. I got Pai Gowed, Queen high only. So much for the match play coupon. But one of the side bets was for if you got Pai Gowed, and it paid $7 to $1. Yea! Only lost $6 on the hand :-) Tipped the dealer $1 and scooted.

Chips, etc.:
