In Response To: Thanks Dave...I try to ()

The Main Entrance Casino was a separate business between the Stateline Country Club and Beecher's Nevada Club in Stateline. It was owned by Charles Silver and George "Frenchy" Perry. It was never associated with anyone named Custer, and was not connected to the Stateline Country Club. The "MEC" chip certainly shouldn't be listed under the Stateline Country Club, and the name Custer should not be linked to it in any way.

Carlos Custer Kulp (a.k.a. Carlos Garcia and Calvin Custer) managed the Stateline Country Club for a couple years in the '30s; but there has never been anyone named Miles E. Custer associated with any business or property in Stateline, Nevada.

I thought we hashed out this "MEC" chip issue over a year ago here: http://www.thechipboard.com/archives/archives.pl/bid/399/md/read/id/1366175/sbj/miles-e-custer-found/
