Following Up on App Requests in Previous Threads

I have no idea how much time or money it costs to make a simple App. Nor do I know if anyone in the CCA knows how to make one.

But just about every convention/tradeshow these days has an App that attendees can load on their iphone/smartphone with information on the convention.

Some of these convention/tradeshow Apps are very basic..others are more complex

The App can contain information such as convention schedule, who is at each table, times of seminars, link to hotel information, restaurants, things to do around town, etc. It could also have the Auction program on it, poker and blackjack tournament rules, etc. Most everything having to do with the convention.

Pretty much everything in the convention program, and much more could be on the App. Is having someone make a simple App for the convention any more expensive than printing costs for programs, auction catalogs, etc? I really have no idea. It sure would be very useful.

There probably is not enough time to think about making a convention App for this year..but maybe for the 2018 convention it should be considered?

Just thinking aloud with my .02..
