I have been told by folks who worked at Haolds that these were chips given to employees as perks with their pay checks to be used by them at the clubs .Harolds and Harolds Gun club were owed by the same Smith family .in operation at the same time although the Gun Club wasn't open as long as the downtown Reno club .
