The Frontier Hotel on the LV strip ordered these tokens in 1967 when they changed their name from New Frontier. The $2 token is not the same size as that specified by Gaming in later years and it has a bonded-silver clad surface. My guess is that there were few if any $2 slot machines at that time and that these were intended for the $2 blackjack table games.
