visited it a couple of years ago. When the Truck-Truck River is low (usual for summer), there are rocks and some sand exposed and people are invited to go wading, as I did. I think the larger half of the river can be used for rafting with inner-tubes, so long as people get out of the water a block or two east, at the Warning Sign.

The flood was reported here in Los Angeles on the news, where they announced some 1500 houses were evacuated. Fortunately my house in Fernley is a few miles east of where the Truck Truck turns north past Wadsworth, so all should be well. I hope! Is the Carson River also flooding?
