Reggie, first let me say I made the harvest, at least the ones that were available, there were no GO chips. The place overall was a disappointment. I left home at 5 PM Friday got there at 7:30. walked in. Everything I saw looked familiar to Diamond Jacks. They had a line set up just inside to help out with the slot cards, since it was fairly short got in it, I noticed they had the red and blue level playing card, there are 4 levels, found out my drivers license was expired and had been for 2 months, but the person behind the counter accepted my retired military ID card, as I was getting my card, mentioned I was a collector and if possible could I also get a blank one of each of the 2 she had, that was one of the good things about my visit. Then I made my way to the cashier cage to check on the chips told cashier what I was looking for, at that point one of the casino hosts assisted me by taking me to a blackjack table, not enough $1 there, but he stayed with me and then took me to roulette table to buy the $1 chips, now that was a pleasant experience. As I said when I walked in I thought I was in Diamond Jacks. with the exception of name change, chips and player cards and a few employees everything else is the same all the same slot machines. Oh by the way went next door to the Ameristar, picked a couple of 2.50’s, hoping I could get the variety with Vicksburg, MS on the bottom edge, but they both were the ones with Vickburg, MS up off the lower edge and to the left of the $ sign. Also I forgot to tell you I won enough at Waterview to pay for the chips. came home with $3.45 in my pocket more than I left home with, if you think any of this if worthy of a harvest story, please feel free to edit and use.

MY FIRST TRIP TO HARLOW’S IN GREENVILLE WAS ABOUT 7-8 YEARS AGO. NANCY AND I HAD BEEN TO TUNICA, AND DECIDED TO DRIVE DOWN STATE MISSISSIPPI FOR A FEW HARVESTS; WHICH INCLUDED THE NEWLY OPENED HARLOW’S.
ACTUALLY THERE IS NOT A LOT TO RELATE ABOUT THIS TRIP OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT I DID DO A LOT OF HARVESTING ELSEWHERE, ALONG WITH HARLOW’S.
LET ME DESCRIBE THE FOYER/LOBBY PART OF HARLOW’S A BIT; THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE BEEN THERE YOU CAN REMEMBER THE RED VELVET ROUND SOFA, THE VELVET CHAIRS, THE GAUDY GOLD FRAMED MIRRORS, THE ATROCIOUS REST ROOMS. THIS PLACE LOOKED LIKE THE WAITING ROOM IN THE LOCAL *****HOUSE. (USE YOUR IMAGINATION).
THE MEMBERSHIP CARDS WERE AVAILABLE JUST AS YOU ENTERED THE CASINO, THAT IS THE NEXT THING WE TURNED OUR ATTENTION TO, THEY WERE QUITE COOL.
I WENT IN AND FOUND SOME FRIENDLY BLACK JACK TABLES, SINCE THEY DID NOT HAVE POKER AT THAT TIME. I COLLECTED MY DUES AS ANY GOOD BLACK JACK PLAYER CAN DO WITH THE DOUBLE DECK BLACK JACK. MEAN WHILE NANCY FOUND HER FAVORITE MACHINES; SHE WAS NOT IN ANY HURRY TO LEAVE THIS CASINO. WE SPENT ABOUT 2-3 HOURS THERE ALL TOLD, I MADE SEVERAL DOLLARS OVER MY CHIP HARVEST HABIT; IT WAS A VERY PROFITABLE STOP. NANCY DID NOT FAIR AS WELL AS I DID; AND SHE CAME BY MY BLACK JACK TABLE AND MADE A REQUEST TO LEAVE. AS I REMEMBER THEY HAD THEIR BLACK JACK TABLES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CASINO AND BANKS OF SLOTS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE TABLE, A NORMAL AND FUNCTIONAL SET FOR A CASINO.
I WAS GLAD WE MADE THE TRIP, BUT WAS READY TO START HEADING FOR HOME. I DID GET ENOUGH CHIPS FOR MY TRADER INVENTORY AND MY COLLECTION…REGGIE

OK, here is the deal, while buying one chip won’t get you a great big discount, mostly because actual total value and the huge price cuts I have made with the new POD, however, if you like to get deals, here is how:
After your 2nd fair sized order, in a reasonably short time, you may be surprised with a discount without even asking. Also, with an exteme amount of face value and one dollar over face chips in the “New” pages of the day, discounts are not as frequent.
• For a volume discount, purchase at least 3 chips, face value chips usually are never discounted; unless specified
• Request a discount for a $25 + valued chip
• Try a partial trade / partial cash combo.
• Use my hold service to accumulate enough value or chips to qualify.
• Compile a list from the Collection Library or the “Page A Day” and make an offer. Will not return email for any low ball offers (The prices are listed).
MANY YEARS AGO I STARTED MY POSTING, BY POSTING “A SET OF THE DAY” I THINK I HAD ABOUT 300-400 SETS ALL TOGETHER. THAT WAS A LOT OF FUN BACK THEN. AND WHEN I STARTED DOING “A PAGE A DAY” I INCLUDED BETTER SETS AS A CATEGORY.

Starting 2016, I have listed everything I have (all of my excel inventory +) on the collection library trader/for sale. Of course, many of you did not know that my previous listings were items I had more than one of. Now, everything; even the ones I only have 1 (one) of will be listed. Please know; none of these are from my personal collection. One more important point while searching for chips on my CL site; there are two settings for viewing my chips. One is a simply a long, long list of pictures and descriptions. Two is by Country/City/State/Casino alphabetical. You may request to change this at any time. And when you do I will leave it on that setting for a couple of days, or whatever you request within reason, before I change to help another chipper’s request.

This will cause more work for me, and along with that will be the possibility of more errors, and chances for items to slip through the cracks. So, I apologize in advance for the times I do not clear off a listing after it has been sold. Also, on the other side of coin, there will be times I will find a very nice item that I had forgot to put on the “Collection Library” when I first got it. And now I am listing it just when you started looking for it.
*On the subject of trading, please know: When you spot something on my CL Trader/For Sale list that you really want, I need to get something that I can put into my collection, also; or it will be a cash sale. Because, to take in trade something I will in turn have to sell, (that is already in my collection) requires me to work twice as hard to complete the original transaction.
The total amount of chips listed on this site as traders and for sale are approximately 4500. This of course will fluctuate up and down, however this number should afford most collectors looking for a piece to put in their collection at least an opportunity to see a few chips not often offered.
