Andy I was rooting for USC this year. I raised my family in San Clemente, I have three grand kids who played of the San Clemente HS. 10 , 9 and 2 yrs ago, One played with Darnold, my daughter who lives in San Clemente, is best friends with Darnold’s aunt. A great family, hoping he will win the Heisman Trophy. Also, San Clemente has a QB suppose to be as good as Darnold, he led San Clemente to Ca. championship in the second highest division this year, he has committed to USC. As far as ND, they have so many problems, eight players to NFL this year, 3 transferred, and B. Kelly is not the answer, mostly freshmen and Soph’s playing worst season in many years. I doubt if they regain greatness for many years to come. New Years wish the wealthy alumni would buy out his long term contract. Go USC, I still love ND, but a realist.
