...and in this town there are many, many antique shops... and as sure as I am standing here typing this, I'm willing to bet that everyone here who has visited this small town has scowered each and every shop searching for chips... and who some have found what used to be the rarest-of-rare Las Vegas chips; met some of those antique shop owners at either our convention; in their shops; while out in the field (antique shows)... and even been called from time to time from way back in the early-1990s when new chips became available... such as super-rare MOP boxed set from Brasil, or Ivories from the 1880s... and a heck of a lot more chips from the world over... and who have even met the parents of a well-known chip distributor in one shop... and a lot, lot more. And, I'm still wondering why I and a few other Florida chippers were never alerted of a JFK gambling chip set when in fact some of us were alerted of every other chip that ever walked through some of those doors...
