The Club 90 east of Lake Charles was on Hwy 90 - one of MANY dance halls along the highway during the 1950s. I don't have any specific knowledge of gambling there, but many of them did.

I wouldn't feel confident attributing this chip to that particular club since it was found out of context and "CLUB 90" isn't exactly a unique name.

My original reply was more to say I doubt it was from Galveston. I would have assumed the name would have popped up somewhere in all the research in the place. But you never know.
